When applying for an employ-sponsored visa, it's important to ensure that your occupation is on the approved list of skilled occupations. You also need a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority to showcase your skills and expertise to the Australian government, similar to an audition.
Having competent English language skills is the minimum requirement for all skilled visas, including employ-sponsored visas. TSS visa holders who are eligible and have an occupation listed on the Regional Occupation List can apply through the Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream of the Employ Nomination Scheme (ENS). However, it's important to note that this pathway will only be available for two years, starting from its launch on 1 July 2022.
